is it a characteristic for thyristor only or for bipolar transistor
It occurs in an SCR, a triac, a bipolar transistor or a diode: i.e. anything with a P-N (or N-P) junction which is forward-biased.

Hello ,

I'm confusing from the answers about what I learnt on transistor basics .

I didn't imagine that in some configuration without a current collector or Vcollector we can have a current on emitter !

Ie = Ib + Ic.
If Ic = 0 but Ib >0 then Ie >0.
