I keep getting 3.2V but the answer says its 8V. What am I doing wrong?

Why did you include the 1 Ohms resistor (the one on the left)? Is the I1 current always equal to -4A?

Yes, If so this 1 ohms resistor has no influence on I1 current, so why you include Vx/1Ω it in your KCL equation I do not know.
