Ya know, I wasn't even thinking about the TI store for individual components, but it is a good point. I wish that everyone of these places (I think mouser and Digi-Key have something in this regard) would let me have an Amazon type, save it for later, basket, because it happens all the time. I am thinking about, or working on something and realize that I need a couple dollars worth of parts and move onto something else because I don't want to pay more for shipping than parts. Then, when I am making a larger order, I can't remember all those little doo-dad parts that would be worth throwing in to the order.Hi,
Sounds good although i have so many parts now i dont know what to do with them all
Nice to know they are there and have a flat rate shipping.
Some places i see now are offering small package USPS service, which can cost only 1.50 USD sometimes for example. So ordering a few resistors or caps or transistors or IC's on the fly becomes a reality without having to fork out a bundle on shipping. Digikey had this for a long time, and i think Jameco also has this now too.
I usually make small orders in order to test a product unless i am working on something specific.
