Greetings. Many of you may have noticed my absence from the forums. My last few months have been busy with care for my wife. Kathy passed quietly and peacefully a week ago on Monday (June 24th). She is at rest in the National Cemetary here in Rittman, Ohio where I eventually will join her. We shared 37 years together and now things are strange, a new quiet. Life goes on and no I have not departed the forums but just have been busy. Once things settle I hope to do a little traveling and actually get out. Anyway I just wanted to make it known to my friends here why I have been missing. My plan was always to go first but we know the best laid plans often ....

Sorry for your loss, Ron. I've been married for 32 years and I cannot even begin to imagine what your new normal must be like. But resilience always lies dormant in the human heart until its time comes to flourish. Hang in there, my friend.

My most sincere condolences.

Let me add my sincerest condolences for your loss. Yes, things will be different, and you will adjust in time. Some travel would probably be some of the best medicine in the coming months.
