The problem in the protocol identification

hi
I have a device that has a communication port but I do not know which type of protocol.
I've measured the voltages on pins , that The following values were obtained :


in your opinion , this is which protocol ??
in The manufacturer's catalog Been picture following :


Also come in the catalog the following descriptions :



i Already use rs485 to rs232 and ttl to rs232 converter but can not connect to device of my laptop !
in your opinion ,Except ground pin , How do I know What are other pins ؟؟

Do you think that this is RS232 protocol ??
Except should not be voltages between -3 to -15 and 3 to 15 volt in this protocol ? while Here are the voltages between 0 to 5 volt .

i use ttl to rs232 converter with max232
As botton pin is for vcc and The following result appeared on hyper terminals .
Each character that you see below is obtained by pressing tab button.


this device works like this that with Press tab button , Settings page device appears.
in your opinion , Why obtained this results ???

Using RS232 still need to following the rule as 9600,n,8,2, if the frequency or setting is n't the same then it won't work probably, you have to try it until they are the same.

my device setting is 4800,n,8,1 . , i use this setting for connect to device in hiper terminal
in your opinion , device setting change when use converter ??
