I just remembered, my wife makes a delicious butternut squash soup that is perfect for this season of the year ... gonna ask her to make some tonight!

 

I gave my neighbor some excess tomatoes from my garden. Within the hour his kids showed up with a couple squash out of his garden. So delicious. There's something special about seasonal treats, and especially that first one you have after a long wait.

 

Getting old sucks.
