I've got all the needed ingredients but the chloroform in downtown Portland. For that I need some Laboratory Grade solvent from work.
More evidence that the “drug crisis” is caused by drug laws, not drug use.As a kid, I always wondered why there were so many blue bottles for milk of magnesia in the old bottle piles. It was because there were so many morphine addicts that needed relief! Even in the early 70s you could get, by simply asking the pharmacist for it, Paregoric. One ounce of paregoric contained 129.6 mg of powdered opium and a good bit of camphor. Folks would dip cigarettes in it and let them dry before smoking them. You could also ask the pharmacist for cough syrup and get the cherry flavored codeine syrup until the late 60s or so.
That's a ridiculous joke made worse by actual evidence. Oregon destroyed that BS statement. No drug laws created a horrible drug crisis, that ate the heart and soul out of this progressive wonderland.More evidence that the “drug crisis” is caused by drug laws, not drug use.
I loved Paregoric. Mom knew a ban was coming and stocked up on it. It was incredibly soothing and effective when your guts were cramping or you had a chest cold. We'd only get a dose of it once a year or so but it felt so great, it's obvious why some people abused it. Mothers used it to get their kids to shut them up. The drug crises was caused by not blowing up go-fast boats crewed by traffickers with reckless abandon.More evidence that the “drug crisis” is caused by drug laws, not drug use.
Yeah, but you lose all that time you save with a go-fast boat; time spent blowing it up. And I know I'd be dizzy LONG before it began to inflate.blowing up go-fast boats
And we STILL can't tell if it's dead or alive!
