Saw it coming. But it was still funny as heck. Especially him in front of the car trying to stop it from hitting the wall. Stupid people, as irritating as they are to me, are still a source of laughter when they do something so 100% lacking in thinking things out. Should have left the door open. Or at least the window so he could dive back in.

 

Yeah I found it rather funny too. But the video didn't reach its ominous conclusion. That makes me suspect that the whole thing might have been an act, and that there was someone in the car to stop it later on. The windows were tainted, after all.

OTH, the kid seemed genuinely panicked ... if he's not an idiot, then he's an excellent actor.

 

I always have to remember to turn off the ignition and remove the key from my son's truck when backed up on the marine lift to put my boat in the water. Typically, since it's hot down here, I would leave the engine running to keep the AC going and shut the door when I exit to help with launching the boat. But, his truck locks the doors automatically after a bit when the engine is running.

The car clearly changes speed when the kid jumps in front of it so the car either had a driver or a collision avoidance system. I doubt the car was damaged. The video was cut short for dramatic emphasis - it wound not have been re-posted here if the car autostopped when it got close to the wall. The mystery helped the entertainment value.
