In 2006, a man named Guy Goma arrived at the BBC studios for what he believed was a job interview in the IT department. Due to a mix-up, producers confused him with technology journalist Guy Kewney, who was scheduled for a live television interview about internet music downloads.
Before realizing the mistake, Goma was escorted onto the set, fitted with a microphone, and questioned live on air about online music. Though visibly surprised, he did his best to respond. The interview quickly became one of the most memorable moments in BBC broadcasting history.
