Hi guys,
I'm wiring up a new 12v charger ignition system into my 1976 RD400 motorcycle and the wiring diagram that came with the r/r has 1 wire from the charge coil hooked up to two of the wires on the unit while the other end goes to ground.
Most diagrams I see have both ends of the charge coil go to the r/r and the other two coming out are simply the pos and neg 12v.
What is the difference between the two methods?
