We have a powerful military and police force that keeps most of the terrorist (right/left/religious/crazy) at bay here but most of the Islamic terror attacks happen in Muslim majority countries where the US has little or no say in how its people are ruled. Muslims are the chief victims of these cold blooded killers. When religion and government are one that's the prime recipe for terrorism of any stripe.

When I see a report that says in America "right-wing extremists plotted or carried out nearly twice as many terrorist attacks as Islamist extremists" I have to smirk at the report because Islamic Terrorism IS a "right-wing" ideology.

In America they have the right believe what they want, and to associate with others of that belief but if they turn those beliefs into criminal or terrorist activities then they should be expunged...

The problem always starts with hostile beliefs... and those are inherent to all brands of islam, simply because its prophet set the example. Christianity is an entirely different thing, but it can also be corrupted by those who wish to impose their views on others. But that attitude is fundamental to humanity itself.

Not all beliefs are hostile, however different from one another. Of course one believes his own approach to life is the right one, and thinks everyone else is mistaken. But it's one thing to believe one's in the right, and an entirety different thing to try to suppress or subjugate those who don't share your views.

Unfortunately there are systems of government that criminalize freedom of beliefs and of speech. So the law in and by itself cannot be used as a reference for justice. Since there is such a thing as an unjust law.

In my opinion, western civilization was built on the foundations of the golden rule. But people are beginning to forget that, because our governments (our societies, as a matter of fact) are turning their backs on history.

I am a Muslim. And I don't believe in hostile actions and I do not have hostile intentions towards any one.
So here, you are wrong. It is not inherent to all brands of Islam.
There are 73 sects, 72 of which do not follow the teaching but calls themselves Muslims.
They are a disgrace to those who love peace and harmony.
I am ashamed of their actions.

When they hear what a true Jihadist gets after his death they follow, but they forget to find out themselves the truth behind what is being fed into them. They follow blindly when they hear those lies fed into them by their leaders.

To live the life that was given to you in the way that was told by the creator.

Read it and see "To live the life that was given to you. Live until death comes to you naturally. Taking your own life is Prohibited. It does not matter how you do it. There is not such cause in Islam that says you can kill your self.

Live your life through hardship and pain.
Live your life through happiness and sickness.
Thanking the creator all the way. For the creator can do worse if he wills.
What you go thru in life is his mercy.
Why "mercy"? Because the creator can do much, much worse.

You take your own life, you will burn for eternity.
It's clear enough for me that Jihad does not mean to take your own life.
