Hello All

New here and first post.

I have a chance to go look at and purchase a used Tektronix scope.
However the problem is the choices I have.
I am able to choose from the following:
2465A, 7854, 7904 or a 7704A.
The 7854, 7904 and the 7704A have various plugins installed.
I was leaning towards the 2465A but already know about the Horizontal IC issue and it's availability but i believe it's a later manufactured scope.

Can Folks please chime in with their thoughts and recommendations?
I've searched the forum archives and I've seen good things about the 7904 and the 7704A. Haven't seen much about the 7854.

One good thing about the plug in scopes is the ability to upgrade or add in another plugin which gives more versatility. However as these scopes are older I am concerned about uptime and potential repairs.

The prices being asked are from 350 to $500.
I have an old telequipment scope from the 70's and a Tek 2445,
which I believe has the same Horiz IC issue.

I mostly work on Amps, analog and digital synths so I know I don't need huge bandwidth but I would like to pick up another scope and these seem like a good deal.
Again any help, advice and comments on these scopes , plus and minus is appreciated.

I am using a 2465A for my work and I like it more than the older 454A (at home).
