I have an old Technics amplifier, SA-EH500 that would turn on and off again when i press the button

I have changed the fuses, i checked a few AC power pins and they seem to be recieving power, the sound processor is connected.
What should i do?
I have the same problem and would also like to know if someone has a resolve.

Most likely the output section has a problem and the unit has entered "protect" mode. Not all receivers make it obvious that this is the problem. Without seeing the unit and poking around a bit, I can't say for sure, but that is my best guess.

I had a similar problem. Then it completely shut down. Either it would break down completely or it would work again: I decided to open it myself. I decided to open the SA-EH 500 unit. I disconnected the connections on the main board. I removed the cooling unit. When I looked at the main board socket of the legs carrying the power circuit board with the fuse with a magnifying glass, I saw that the solders on many legs were cracked. I renewed the solders with a very thin soldering iron. I carefully put all the parts back in place. Voila!!! The whole system started working.
