Very true and in the US, it is generally considered that the risks of the screening outweigh benefits after one is in their late 70's. Of course, there are exceptions based on medical history.Glad it turned out well.
I read a story of a woman who convinced her 90 year old mother to get her first colonoscopy. The mother had a bad feeling about it, but reluctantly agreed.
