A gazebo! In my backyard, not in a million years! The plan is to eventually build a four season Sunroom with quick access to the outdoor kitchen.

Excellent ribs.:D
Even better, I wanted a sun room, BTW your wife is very beautiful. You make a wonderful couple. Since I'll hopefully move, I might build it when find a place elsewhere after my retirement.

How dare you dangle those ribs across the page.:rolleyes:

Best wishes,

I don't know if the deck will be done in 3 to 4 hours.:D
This is as far is it gets for next couple of days. Need to let the boards acclimate a bit before I space them with a 16D nail, screw them down with 3inch stainless screws and round off the four corners with a saber saw and circle jig. Can't have any Feng Shui 'poison arrows' according to the wife. o_O

We stew beef short ribs. 3-4" long. They are not cut thin like a pork chop. Also get "backbone" which is along the ribs higher than the loin pork chop. Sometimes boneless but usually bone-in. I used to get several wild feral hogs every year hunting down in the swamps here. That is some good BBQ! We also have some feral cattle in the swamps but they stay deep in the swamp and trying dress, butcher and carry out several hundred pounds of meat is brutal so most "Smart" guys don't shoot them.

I guess it's a local thing. There have to be lots of beef ribs from the abattoir but we seldom see them in the store here and I like them. Always pork ribs, tenderloins, chops, Boston butts and hams plus the usual beef steak and roast cuts.

Funny me and wife went to a new Korean BBQ house, hardly any white people there so you know it's good. Was a very good experience, you cook your own meat at the table, just Pork, Chicken, and beef. Soups, or other came from the Kitchen. Better load your wallet, lunch was $60, all you can eat though. For me it was too sweet, the girl said well we usually don't prepare our food so sweet, we had to create it to satisfy white people because the first thing they say, "is it hot" meaning spicy.

Probably won't go back but, having your own little grill in the middle of the table was fun.

@cmartinez or anyone that knows
I would like to know if you know how taco bell makes their taco bowls ?
I've always liked their taco salads
1. Are they fried or oven baked ?
2. Why is there this sweet taste to them (kinda like sugar)
3. Are they corn or flour shells

I make a pretty mean one with flour shells but I heat them enough to get them to puff in the microwave (little pockets) add butter and then sugar them generously both sides. Place the on a oven safe round bowl (shape them) and bake them at 325 until golden brown.
Thanks

I'm afraid you're going to have to ask someone else. For one thing, Taco Bell is not Mexican food. And for another, a "Taco Bowl" is not Mexican food either (although I'd like to try it someday), it's rather another gringo dish styled after Mexican food. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I make a better one ! better toppings/ more toppings ! ( just the bowl) That being said. They're not bad.... Never would have thought it wasn't thought up by Hispanic people:( It just seemed so Mexican so I thought I would ask someone I assumed was "If your not it was just your name". Love me some Hispanic food !
No hurt intended
