Hi, i'm doing some homework, but i'm a little bit stuck and therefore wanted to ask here if anybody would help me

(I'm translating it, so it might be a bit incorrect)

The problem says:
A synchronous motor with synchronousreactance (X_s) of 80 ohms is coupled to 350 V line to line voltage.
The motor absorbs 1 (A) current with 0.8 lagging.

Find the machines magnetizing voltage (Ef) (as line to neutral voltage).

Thank you in advance

This is Homework Help and not Homework Done For You.

YOU need to show YOUR best attempt to work YOUR homework. We can then review it and try to help you learn what you are doing wrong and how to get back on track.

Thanks for the reply

I was not expecting anyone to do it for me, but to hopefully help me on track.

I'm not quite sure where to begin. Am i supposed to find the active power P via the formula P = V*I cos(phi) and once i have the active power i can solve for the magnetizing voltage/excitation voltage?

Thank you in advance
