Hi guys

I am currently doing a design project the requires me to to build a people counter. The signal coming in from my sensors are going to a decade counter(74ls192) which is activated with a rising edge.
I need help with the switching of the pin from ground to Vcc when a high is received from my sensors.
I have tried using BJTs which worked in simulation but when I built it, it did not work.

Hmmm...high is received from the sensor, high is required by the counter chip. What is the problem?
