Switch problem

The problem is that whenever either switch is to the left you are shorting out the power supplies by connecting the bottom rails together.
If you simply remove the switches, leaving all the wires as they are, both LEDs will turn on. Can you see why?
Remove the center wire on each switch. You can also remove the left wire as it serves no purpose.
