It only seems like yesterday that the first Super Bowl was played. Like every

thing else ,you are either a sports fan or not. I live in the back yard of Miami ,

never been to a pro-foot ball game. The Super Bowl some how gets the

attention of most us. Who will be the champs this time Sunday night.

Here in Vermont we always get another 6 weeks of winter, no matter what punxsutawney phil says. I never put much faith in him

I have my bet down. If Broncos win, my wife takes me out to "The Nook", which has over 150 beer labels. I'll go through as many as I can. If the Seahawks win, I have to endure date night at Carabas italian restaurant. The Broncos have always been my 2nd favorite team since the John Elway/Dan Reeves days. But I'd be happy to see the hawks win their first too.

At game time, we'll have cheeseburger sliders, home-made steak cut fires, hotwings and guacamole.

 

I don't care much for football. I didn't even know that the superbowl was coming, until my mother invited herself and the whole family over to my house for a superbowl party. I would rather be playing with my 3d printer, but I guess that's what happens when you're "that guy" with the 10ft TV.

Every time I watch a football, there's a new rule. Or there's an old rule I just learn about. So many rules, it's silly. It's supposed to be a bunch of burly dudes brawling over a misshapen ball. But they have rules, like you can't get in someone's way while they're trying to catch the ball, you can't trip people, you can't ggrab people in certain ways, you can't dance too enthusiastically, the list goes on. "Unnecessary roughness"? I thought unnecessary roughness was the whole point of the game.

Maybe I should just watch rugby.

 

Its' a game, for a free-for-all. Pitiful effort from the Broncos.
