Does that usb device contain a valid UID or any other identifier? If i remember correctly you just need to connect a pullup resistor to one of the data lines to make that device appear in the device manager.

There are 2 USB on front panel. If i connect BT or Mouse receiver then USB stick (so both usb plugged IN) USB will not recognized
When i connect only USB Stick it will be recognized but with less descriptions.
After your question i get in doubt about iastor.sys. Its OS System driver for AHCI Mode. Disabling it and be back to you in 10 min
