Does it mean a load cell which have array of strain gages

or they can be connected in array. If yes what is configuration, how they are connected in array?

 

A full bridge load cell usually has an array of 4 strain gauges.
Two of the strain gauges are in compression and the other two are in tension, when a load is applied to the cell.

The word array means in this context, more than one gauge.
