Hey guys!

Just a general question. If I have two 36V 10A switched mode power
supplies, can I 'stack' them to get 36V 20A ?

Thanks!

Generally what happens is one supply has a slightly higher output voltage, so that one runs in current limit mode (may be noisy) with the other supply delivering the lesser current.

They do not share equally... if you take out less then 10 amps most all comes from that one supply.

It may work, it may not. It's a coin flip without knowing the specific supplies involved.

Depends on the supply. Some have rear panel connectors so the PS can be used as a current source. If you aren't sure, don't do it. You'll blow it up.
