Hi.
I´m using an OLED display in one of my designs. I´ve been using it without the internal charge pump because of noise. So change pump is no option!
Now I´ve made changed to the design, and I no longer have sufficient voltage to use it without the charge pump (VCC = 7-15V).
But I do have a dual rail: +/-5V supply.
Normally OLEDs are supplied with dual rail, and I suppose the charge pump is generating a negative supply rather than boosting the positive volatge.
Have anyone tried to supply these OLED modules with with dual rail supply for the LED driver (VCC and VLSS)?

I have not tried, I do not know anything about them.

I think they are powered only by positive voltage supply. If you do not want to use the charge pump, then an equivalent of it without the noise would be a good idea. You can try some IC that boosts the voltage for you.

Of course I could add more to the circuit. But I do not want to add a boost because it´s a high impedance high gain circuit. And of course I want to keep the bom as low as possible. And since normaly OLED display have dual supply LED drives I was hoping this could be a neet solution.

I´ll do a test my self as soon as I get time.
