I´m reviewing a design of an advance PCB and I see some kind of squares in Top/Bottom polygon pours. They seem not to be connected to anywhere. Do anyone knows what are they? For what reason they are using them?

There are a few possible reasons. The first one that comes to mind is simply trying to minimize the amount of copper that has to be removed in order to save etchant. If it is a board that is pushing the fab capabilities, they may have rules that require the fill density in any region of the board to be over a particular value in order to ensure uniform etching.
