Hi All,

I'm using a power which is from IPD(please find attached the data sheet for more info),where it can drive 5v, 9A of load .

But here the issue is i'm facing huge spikes at the output during both no load and full load condition .
i have used the LC(l=1.5uH,C=100uF) filter also at the output side even though spikes are coming at the output side please guide me with a suitable solution.

Please find the attached images of spikes for better understanding.

I think that 1.5 μH inductor may be a bit small, given the noise you're seeing. I'd try a 22 μH, 47 μH, or even 100 μH inductor instead, along with an RFI bead (or beads) and see if that improves the situation.

Also, while a 100 μF capacitor will do a good job of filtering low frequencies, it's going to have significant self-inductance which will make it ineffective at filtering high frequencies. I would put multiple capacitors in parallel with it, such as a 10 μF low-ESR electrolytic, a 1 μF ceramic, a 100 nF ceramic, and a 10 nF ceramic. Together, they will perform a lot better over a much wider frequency spectrum.
