Hello,

Using the transformer subcircuit it list 4 parameters:

*RATIO = Turns ratio= Secondary/Primary
*RP = Primary DC resistance
*RS = Secondary DC resistance
*LEAK = Leakage inductance
*MAG = Magnetizing inductance

Ratio and resistance I understand how to get to, but what is it asking for inductance wise? I understand what leakage inductance is, but does it want the primary or secondary leakage inductance? Does it want total leakage as in a sum? Or does it use the ratio to calculate it the secondary? I think the magnetizing inductance is the same measured from the primary or the secondary, is that true?

If I measure the inductance of the primary with the secondary shorted, I get the magnetizing inductance plus the primary leakage. Then if I measure with secondary open, I get just the leakage. Assuming I am using a frequency in its operational range. Am I correct?

Thanks

Which version of Spice?

What transformer are you modeling? P/N?
