Hi --

I wanted to learn (just hobby/fun) about using an audio transformer.

Two questions please...

1.) I am using OrCad demo 16 to simulate before I build on the breadboard. When I set up the circuit it complains that R6 is floating. I have attached the full schematic. Is this the right way to do an audio transformer in OrCad?

2.) I am using XFRM_Linear/Analog component. How do I make it so this component is like a 500Ω:8Ω transformer. I can edit the PSpice model but I am not sure what values to use.

Spice doesn't like floating nodes. One solution is to ground one side of R6 directly, or thru a resistor of high value to simulate leakage.
