I've looked high and low for an LTspice model for an LM555.
I was wondering if anyone has such a thing.

No, I don't.Same as NE555.
Do you have that one?
TY I will take a look.
What is it that you don't understand about the 555 timer that you need to run a simulation?I've looked high and low for an LTspice model for an LM555.
Don't quite see how whether on not you understand how the 555 works, is directly related to doing a simulation for a 555 circuit? What is it that you don't understand about the 555 timer that you need to run a simulation?
The LM555 is a direct replacement for an NE555, so you can use an NE555 if you want. There is an NE555 distributed with LTspice.I've looked high and low for an LTspice model for an LM555.

Note that there two types of models. There is an NE555 distributed with LTspice.
