Hi everyone, i'm new here.

I would like to get some hints about what can be done about calibrating speed reading from a speed sensor?
It's a 3 pole sensor, it reads some resistance 14 times per revolution.
I need about half of that, but dont know precise number.
What can be done about it?

It would make it easier if you were to tell us what it is you are trying to accomplish and perhaps show a picture of what you have to work with. I assume it is a hall effect sensor but what do you have for a drive unit and what are you using for a reluctor?

its shown in the picture in the end of the post, assembly that goes to a bike's wheel, i need it to show lower speed, aproximately half of what it shows now

 

it will be giving a pulsed output at the speed of the wheel, so you will need to feed it into a divider like a cd4013, or cd4017 chip,feed your signal into pin 14, and take your division 1 to 10,from the different outputs.
