Hello everyone.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post, and hopefully considering giving me some advice.
I dont have an electronic background being a plumber. So please forgive me. I have bought a 12v brushless motor for an invention that i am working on for my boat. I understand that i need an 80amp speed controller to make the motor work. Is there any possibility that i can get a controller that won’t have a speed controller attached to make it work? I am hoping to be able pulse the motor vis a push and release switch.
Any advice from you clever lot would be so appreciated.
Thanks again.
Tom

Is there a BLDC or other motor controller that is allied to this motor?
I would have though there would be an associated controller offered by the manuf or distributor?
Is there any other spec's on the motor?

If you can't source a non-speed-variable controller, perhaps you could use a readily available speed controller set to a fixed required speed (maximum?), then pulse the controller's supply by using the switch and a solid-state relay?

Thank you so much for your reply.
i think i made a boo boo by buying a motor from ebay. They supplier wasnt much help when i asked the question about supplying my with a controller. All they told me was that i need an 80amp, and then that they cant supply one for me.
i have a little technical info. I will attach it via a photo. But am conscious that i am taking up a lot of your time. So thank you again.
