Getting in to semantics now.
PSC and shaded pole are two different technologies, albeit both AC induction motors.
If you want to split hairs then PSC and SPole are split phase induction motors.

Most motors that do not have permanent magnets, commutators, or slip rings, are induction motors. Shaded pole motors are a rather small subset of induction motors. My whole point was to avoid confusion.
A career that included a whole lot of writing technical proposals demanded the use of unambiguous words in every description. Unclear meanings in a contract can cost thousands of dollars or more, and so the use of accurate descriptions has become first nature with me. Words certainly do matter.

Certainly correct spelling is important, primarily to maintain credibility but also to assure clarity.
Says the guy that makes so many spelling mistakes. Makes it hard to believe you actually wrote proposals and detailed technical specs like you claim.

And I'm not throwing stones, just stating facts.

i would not call that a fair comparison. it is far from rare that online posts are messed up and not checked. after all there are no consequences here other than someone may be pointing out that you made mistake.

With the keyboard on this computer a routinely make 'fatfinger" typos. Also, not every key works perfectly every time. I catch most of them but evidently not all of them. I am not infallible any more, nor invincible. Long story on that, certainly off-topic.
