I have a pair of speakers, connected to an amplifier, running off of 5v. Since I am using this for a project, I want it to have a rechargeable battery. I ripped apart a solar rechargeable battery, which had a battery resembling the ones out of phones (Nokias maybe, like the one in the image)
The battery had charging protection, an 2 usb ports. I connected my speaker to the battery and played dome music. It was all fine although after about 3 seconds the speaker cuts out for a split second. This could be to do with the speakers drawing too much current, if so what would be a simple way to reduce current.
NOTE: I dont have a multimeter yet (it broke) so I cant measure the current draw of the speakers.
