This user leodown1 has been banned, afther all of his posts are deleted.
jrap took care of it using the tool "spam decimator".
If you find an other "spammer" you can always use the report button

.
Only one post needs to be reported as this "spam decimator" will find all posts.

There are times I see someone splattering the board and just have to grit my teeth. Some of these guys look for moderators, and finding none, go to town on the site. Nothing to be done (except the red triangle), people have to sleep sometime.

I knew this one site where one of the mods liked to be in the stealth mode, similar to the way Wookie and I do it, so he could nail them real time.

In a way it is a back handed compliment. We are a major site in our niche.

In the user controlpanel, you have the link for "edit options".
On the top of that page there is a block " Login & Privacy".
In this block you can set a "Use Invisible Mode".

I will never understand how spam works. Especially for something like drugs. So you are going to buy a drug from someone you do not know or a company you do not know if you can trust and put it in your body. Never mind you are giving your Credit card to someone that you are unsure you can trust.

 

If it did not work pretty well, then something less than 70% (I heard the exact figure, and think it is in that range but can't recall exactly) of all email messages would be spams. The high percentage says that someone thinks spam is very profitable.

Back when I was a young boy and dinosaurs roamed the earth, I took a canoe trip (yes it was one of our few means of transport at the time, that and the horse, the wheel being not yet invented) with the Boy Scouts.

We took a week long trip down the Allegheny River from Oil City to a small town just north of Pittsburgh, approximately 300 miles (400 km).

Each day for lunch we would have either crackers and chicken salad or crackers and spam. Believe it or not, I never had spam before this. I devoured every morsel at lunch. I marveled at my new delicious discovery.

The first chance I got when I got back home, I went out and bought a can of my new delicacy. I could not wait to taste it again. I popped the lid and was disgusted at what I saw. I never ate spam again.

Amazing how hunger can make something as disgusting as spam, taste so delicious.

 

I beg to differ, SPAM is delicious in any form, once you scrape the silicone based gelatin off it
especially fried, chopped up, and put in macaroni

But yes, hunger and work makes everything seem better. In more than just the food way.

 

Yeah it is the scraping of the gelatin that got to me.
