I still miss foods with taste. after a bout of congestie heart failure a couple of weeks ago, now EVERYTHING must taste like sawdust and sand. didnt even have any cholesterol blockages in my heart too.

I am fine got a new garage princess. The new one (a 1997 model) same type as I had before but with 5.4 litre engine. Somewhat upgraded from 5 litre I had before. But of course a V12 engine. The new one has a lot interesting gizmos like CD player and satellite navigation. And even a five speed automatic gearbox. This one is also 100% the same as it left the factory. Just as the old one.

Tomorrow, we are taking the grill and some burgers to the lake. We're gonna grill up those burgers by the water and watch the sun go down over the lake. It lights up the lake with cobalt blue at first, changing to blaze orange, yellow and pink'ish hues. Water is still a little cool to swim. In a couple weeks, we'll tote the tent back there for an extended stay.

 

Good to see you again, Loosie! I was beginning to worry, I hadn't seen you in a while!

I have been going through an illness that has lasted almost 4 months now. I have been to the hospital three times and been to countless doctors appointments, had an upper endoscopy and ultrasound done, and still nobody knows what's happening. I have been unable to eat and lost about 30 lbs. over the past month or two. One of the few things I can eat (and even then, only occasionally) is Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia ice cream. I tend to go through two or three pints a week. Believe it or not I am tired of this "diet" and I need to figure out how to get back on track. I am dangerously underweight and cannot go on like this.
