This might be a tough ask. I need a source of cheap Simpson VOMs. I don't care if they work as long as the movements are intact.

I want to redo my analog meter clock. As shown in my rather shaky video

I want to do it with Simpson meters. Yes I know I can get cheap generic meters but would much rather have the classic Simpson.

Any ideas?

Yeah I was hoping for cheaper. Plus buying them one at a time could mean differences in models.
Oh, yeah, you _do_ want them to match.
Are you going to leave the meters in the original 260 case?

Kudos to Simpson :D:D:D They have _all_ of their manuals -- old and new -- on-line here:

They have manuals and schematics going all the way back to 1939!

The newer information may help you select which model you want.

edit: Better link. Added comment about Simpson downloads.

.
Yes of course. :D

Not my idea. I saw it done elsewhere and it looked really cool.

As I mentioned above, I could use 10 meters but it would not have the same impact.

I have three Simpson Model 29 panel meters.

Are you bragging or are you offering them for sale? ;) What is their size?

What I am really looking for is the VOM test equipment. I don't know if the meters themselves would do me any good because I need to recreate the meter face. Unless I could do it in a way that does not cover the logo.

Not bragging. You said you needed three identical meters. You can have them for free but you have to pay for shipping.
Meter only as shown in the photo.

4 5/8" x 4 1/4"

2 3/4" diam hole

Someone wrote with black marker on the 0-20mA scale to make it look like 0-200.

Wow that is very nice of you. Sure I will take them. Pack them up whenever you find the time and send them out. PM me your paypal email or your address and the cost.

I will likely not make use of them for a while so no rush at all.
