Hello

For what these parts used in this UPS machine?
Wire go pass inside magnets
And wire around the magnets
While this is normal power cable connecting power between two boards Iike this, also some data cable like this with magnet
For what this is used? IMG_20241201_141702.jpg

hi gaber,
When a ferrite toroid is wound with a couple of turns or so, it is effectively an inductor.
This will have the effect of reduces any voltage 'noise' spikes on the signals in the cable run.

INDEED. Those are ferrite material, not magnets. AND they are rather fragile, they may shatter if dropped on a hard floor. AND, exactly as mentioned, they form an inductive filter choke when a wire is passed thru them.

The toroids of powdered iron (ferrite) concentrate the magnetic field in turn increase the inductance therefore the reactance.
This reduces electrical noise that is radiated as small amount of heat. Other powdered elements can be added to the ferrite powder
as the (AC) noise increases, such a mixture designed frequency selective or just resistive loss. Noise can be tolerated in many applications where the circuit functions well enough and it is unnecessary to add filter sleeves. In some parts of the world a noisy but very efficient circuit using a 20W led light is much appreciated and low cost is necessary.

When electrical noise does'nt matter then forget about it. Conservation as a whole means becoming simple, using less gadgets. Wearing a sweater.
A DC power rail, Power over ethernet ect can act as an AC path. An inductor with a little help will block AC . Emergency services needs priority.
These pictures the red, green and yellow ethernet cables must need filtering, the current carrying wires might be susceptible. The power is
uninterrupted power but susceptible as current can be. They really stacked the ferrite and put just a turn as needed, must be some processors or something on that ups power bus they were concerned about isolating noise.
