Greeting. I'm Anuar. I currently designing a microstrip antenna, using microstrip feeding line technique. But as i try to re-calculated the dimension for my antenna,i encounter with formula that using transmission line model (TLM) to analysis rectangular patch microstrip. I stuck with the 'x' value in the equation,what is it for?

 

In a one-dimensional analysis, x measures the position along the transmission line and L is the total length.
