Hi.

1 of the capacitor on my claw machine motherboard is blown (as shown in picture) and was wondering if there is a guru out there to help me identify the capacitor type and where to buy it.

It is labelled:

  • DX8G China
  • BLDZ Mexico

I am unable to find any information on the web with that information and would really appreciate it if someone can help me on this issue.

Thanks-in-advance!!

These are not capacitors. They are PTC or PPTC resettable fuses.
Remove the bad fuse and show us sharp photos of both sides of the fuse.
Presumably, all four fuses have the same current and voltage rating. It looks like 30 V. You now need to figure out the current rating. Look for markings on both sides of the fuses.

Hi. Thank you both on the reply. I went back to look at the other pictures that i have taken earlier and thought that the "back" of the fuse was "blank" but realised it was not.

Attached is an angle of the back of the resistor... It's not clear at this angle. I'll remove it later today to have a better picture of it.

If anyone knows the rating of this fuse from this angle, do let me know =)

Btw, the blown component affects the "grabbing" function of the claw machine.

I only saw the blown fuse when i ran the machine and realized that the claw "grabbing" was not working.

Everything else works as normally.

It appears to be a 30V 3A fuse from UXCELL.

You can jumper across the bad fuse with a regular fuse for now in order to test if the claw is still working.
