Hello all.
Not really sure if this is the right forum however I thought I'd ask.

We have a dishwasher C1860we by Electra whoever they are !.
Anyway, it keeps stopping after 20 odd minutes flashing a code F5. I have tried looking it up, I have checked the pipe work for blockages. I have the machine stripped but don't want to go pulling much apart as I don't really know what it could be now. Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts ? It's a shame to just throw it away as it's bound to be a simple component. And it always worked well. It's not really that old either about 3 years old
Thanks for helping

F5 - Pressure System Failure

Either a low water pressure on the inlet, or a faulty inlet solenoid.

If it's intermittent and your house pressure is poor, it could be caused by something else in the house taking water at the same time eg clothes washing machine.

Low water pressure, leading to excessive fill time, can also be due to a partly plugged inlet water filter, usually located right before the fill valve. OR the external service shutoff valve did not get fully opened.

The inline water valve that also serves the sink, I had turned down a bit a while ago as it came out too fast from the tap. The dish washer is also fed from it. I have opened the valve fully and the dish washer appears to work again. Interesting!! Thanks chaps
