The first one (Board) I tried, had Hair-Margin Hysteresis...and was quite aggravating, as it would switch on correctly, but then cycle non-stop.
I threw it out the window in a fit of aggression.
The second (Blue rail mount) one was too sensitive, it was sensitive to the Magnetic end of my screw-driver when I was adjusting the pot, It also refused to work correctly when it was mounted on its side.
Again Hysteresis was practically non-existent, and it could be tuned to turn on, but it would never turn off, or turn off and never turn on.
It was originally purchased from Ali express, but is no longer on there.
It was also thrown out the window in an absolute aggressive move against all Humanities, and the Gods they pray to.

Why? What's the purpose? You want a remote indicator light to tell you the soldering iron is still on. It seems apparent you've exhausted the current sensing side of your approach. Time to come up with something new.

If you don't like simple then open your iron and tap into the 120VAC hot and neutral lines and run a cord to where you want the remote indicator. When you turn the iron on - the light is on. When you turn the iron off - the light is off. I don't see a need to build a rocket engine just to be able to know if your iron is on. Tapping the hot feed in your iron can probably be done with stuff you have lying around the homestead. I just can't see spending a thousand dollars to solve a two dollar problem.

I've asked numerous times before but can't seem to pin you down to a simple answer. Do you want to light a remote indicator light to alert you to an iron left idling?

To be honest, I thought that I had mentioned this 3 pages ago in my initial request, that I wanted a light from outside my workshop to let me know that my iron was on, but I guess after 3 pages of responses, that can get lost in the shuffle.
I always have that to fall back on, the tapping of my main power switch that is.
