I saw 8w soldering iron use a 12v battery in the store, and while we have (in my country) bad condition with main power-electric, i am thinking to buy it
But, is it good idea, that I have a 12v/7a Battery, charged from solar panel?

You can use it with batteries since they are rated in AH so it will provide 7A for 1 hour.Just make sure its 12DC soldering iron and not 5V.
