Hi Guys n Gals, I'm mulling over using a 5v Camera / recorder with USB charging socket on my motorcycle. I've had the thought of using a solar charger to top up the internal battery of the camera.
Questions:
1. If the solar charger is always connected, would this affect the internal battery of the camera with charge holding capability?
2. Any suggestions of the size of solar charger I would need to use?
I am intending to fit the solar charger in the lid of the Top Box on my bike.
3. Any suggestions of where I can pick up a suitable solar charger?

Regards.

Since the size of the top box lid is the limiting factor I would fit the largest solar panel that it will support... and charge a battery (not just the one in the camera) so that you have power when there's no sun.
