Hi All,

I am looking for SMD LED, case style 0603, with forward voltage less than 1.75V. I tried to find from internet but i couldn't get it.If anybody know such kind of LED available, pls provide the information.

The only one I could find is one at FARNELL.
A red led in case 0603.

Infrared LEDs have a low forward voltage. Maybe only 1.4V.

 

I stumbled across one on Mouser.com the other day, but not knowing where you are, I don't know if you could order it. Besides, I didn't save the part number. They do sell them though. I believe it was a red LED.

You'll be hard-pressed to find a visible light spectrum 0603 LED that has a typical Vf of under 1.6v.

He probably wants to see the light.
Red LEDs will typically drop less voltage and with the proper current considerations you could get close to 1.6V but probably not lower than that. If you up the current limiting resistor to decrease the Id to around 3mA, this will put your Vf around 1.7-1.8V. The trade-off is, your LED won't be as bright, but bright enough.
