I've been looking for an SMC version of this IRLB8721PBF.
I was looking at the IRL3303's, would they be comparable (link to digi-key)?

Also, I wanted to get some eyes on my eagle file and see if anyone has any recommendations for my mosfet shield for the photon. Where is the best place to post that?

The first board I built was designed in fritzing with through hole components and it works well, the second board will have all SMC components with hopes of it being a bit cheaper and smaller. In the end I just want some recommendations or a set of pro eyes on the design since this is the first board I've designed.

You can post a picture or the file itself. If the file extension isn't allowed, rename it to .txt.

with hopes of it being a bit cheaper and smaller.

Based on the parts that showed up on Mouser, not going to be cheaper unless you buy a full reel (2000-5000 parts).

 

The real savings was going to be on the board size, using SMC components would help get the board size small enough that it steps into a lower cost production tier.

A few details, the gate needs to open at 2.5v or less. The motors draw 12v at 150mA...with that in mind, could I use a fet with a logic level gate?
