I have a Fideco docking station (YPZ04-S2HC) and for some reason the second slot has stopped detecting drives. Slot 1 is fine. All USB and media card readers are fine.
I can confirm power (12v and 5v) is reaching the sata port.
The caps (C22, C39, C30, C32 as seen in attached photo) between the data lines and ASMedia 1156 chip reads same values as Slot 1 and can confirm the data lines are running to the ASMedia 1156 chip. (Unfortunately I dont have an oscilloscope to see if anything happening on the data lines).
Have attached photos of the pcb. Top port is slot 2.
