Can we use slider switches instead of push button switches typically for electrical appliances viz Tubelight,Ceiling Fan,Referigerator,Television set,Air conditioner,Microwave oven etc?.

Thanks & Regards,

Maybe...
Proper switch selection/substitution is based mostly on the voltage and current levels you need to switch..
But if the switch is capable of the switching the voltage/current then the mechanical method it uses does not matter much..
Rotary, slide, push, rocker,etc... can all be used if it meets the electrical requirements and any other requirements that design may entail..

The way you have been posting questions almost makes you seem robotic in that you seem to lack an absolute basic understanding of anything electrical/electronic really and an inability to think on your own..

Maybe you should try to educate yourself using the tools this website offers..
Trying to learn from all the textbooks/examples,etc... on this site may be highly beneficial to you..

I'm fully aware of what a slider switch is...

What was the reason you posted the picture without any further context?

The answer given to your question is not going to change from "maybe" to anything else as the details of these appliances and the specific current/voltage levels has not been defined nor can we determine the specifications of that slide switch from an image alone..
