The wreck of the polar explorer’s ship has been discovered off the coast of Antarctica, the Falklands Maritime Heritage Trust has announced. Endurance had not been seen since it was crushed by ice and sank in the Weddell Sea in 1915. Last month, 100 years after Shackleton’s death, the Endurance22 expedition set off from South Africa to locate the vessel

I do not see a " crushed ship " in that photo.

The ice would crush in the hull at the ships sides from port to starboard causing a water leak, sinking the ship.

Similar to the two found in the northern hemisphere on the cost line of this province.
The search for the North west passage by Sir John Franklin, they have some artifacts in the local museum here.
Some really good reads on the expedition and other historical commentaries written by Ken McGoogan.
Especially about someone that many Canadians do not know about,
Mcgoogan wrote about it in "lady Franklins revenge" when he reported that the survivors resorted to cannibalisms to survive.
