Educate me please.

Can a single phase motor be connected to 3 phase vfd ?
I know that the motor in question has 3 pairs of posts for bus bars (to change rotation direction, motor is 1.1kw 1ph).
Can a single phase motor be connected to variable freq drive by taking off caps and wiring them directly ?

Just starting messing with 3ph, need starting point in research.

In short, NO.
Also 1ph cap start/run motors tend to fall out of run when the frequency is varied (lowered) , particularly when under load.

It must be a capacitor start, capacitor run, single phase submersible pump.

You can drive a 1 ph motor from a 3 ph line,
All those guys over at CNCzone would love to know that, they have all been buying 3 phase motors for their VFD's.
The OP question was regarding VFD's. for 1ph motors.;)
P.S. By the way, I checked out the Danfoss site and video and I could not see anywhere where they mention cap start/run 1ph motors?
