Mark Cuban spoke to the kid and reported his conversation - he said the sister kept kibitzing. He also said the kid showed it to his science teacher in first period and didn't put it away like the science teacher told him and, instead took it to show all his other teachers. Why would he keep showing it off if it wasn't anything other than to torment and bait them into calling the police?

 

I guess they didn't like the "freedom" in Qatar.

I think the lawyer has overstated to them the odds of actually winning a settlement. I don't think it'll get as far as they would like.

I hope that when the money is paid, it is sequestered until fully taxed. Then the attorneys get paid. This claim was made as a "civil rights" violation to exclude the total from IRS income taxes.

Me too. I was actually called in to receive a "grant". Then they found out I wasn't Mexican and threw me out like I had tried to scam them by using my real name (which sounds Mexican). The only way I can guess how I got that name is that I was named after my father, who was born to 100% Danish parents in Kassen Minnesota, but they had a litter of 13 and apparently ran out of American sounding names.

Cuban has several things to say through the whole thing. Something more than Ahmed putting the guts of a clock radio into a case is going on. I don't know the motivation but I hope the school district lets this play out in court so we can learn the whole story.

I never said you were in a combat zone. I don't recall you mentioning your discharge status, however I do recall seeing you in "fatigues" in a picture. I am assuming you fulfilled whatever commitment you had, giving you the veteran status. The other status was the unfortunate accident, again, I assumed you were getting some compensation from SSA.
