How can i make a simple LED initial? i don't need matrix or whatever only 4 letters.
Will the LEDs lit up for a 12Vdc battery or ... if i just connect them in parallel?
i estimated that i would need about 20-30 LEDs.
Do i need resistors or anything else? Anyone can advice me on this?

Its an easy circuit so i google on it but there were too many results. Anyone can link me to a good website would be appreciated.

 

Drill a board with the pattern, mount the LEDs, then depending on your power supply, put how ever many you can get by with in series. Repeat, repeat and repeat. Each chain should get it's own resistor.
